Air Ducts

I was checking out some 370Z pics on the Car Throttle app and saw these pictures with some sweet looking ducts. The poster did not know where the air/cooling ducts came from because it was not his car.

Wondering, are any of you familiar with these? Might they have a significant negative effect on downforce at track speed?

Are u sure, that these "air duct" are not only nice looking decals at the bumper?

From that picture, they look like decals. However, both Nismo and Finite Motorsports offer those ducts. I doubt they'd be detrimental to downforce as Nismo uses them on their race cars... they're usually routed to help cool the front brakes. Check out Rusty's Nismo build.

I have the Nismo brake cooling ducts in my front bumper. Look in my journal for more info. And no, there is no effect on down force on the track.
