Thinking about new nismo for daily driver but csc?

Yep, the trans has to come out. Figure 5-8 hours of shop time, at least. Most people seem to swap out the clutch and flywheel at the same time. Some do it for the upgrade, some because sometimes when the csc fails it drenches the clutch in brake fluid and ruins it. Also, the master cylinder needs to be replaced at the same time since csc failure usually causes a bunch of crap to get sucked up into the master and damages the seals. The OEM replacement is cheap, but failure prone. There's a new aftermarket option just now arriving into the market, but it hasn't been widely used yet.

And there's no safe mileage on the csc. Some people here have had failures inside of 5k miles. Hell, one guy had it happen on the test drive.

It's a great car. Don't let this scare you off. Once you get the aftermarket part in, it's basically bulletproof.
