It spooked me and I figured with all these 2014 Nismos sitting and having 2016's coming out soon, someone would be willing to take a hit just to get a 2014 Nismo off their lot.

I used the nissan inventory search on nissan's website and just started mass emailing every dealer on the east coast to see what they would be willing to move a 2014 for. I found there were a TON of 2014's still new and unsold. I requested a price of $35,000 and got a bunch of calls back over the next 2 days and the lowest I got was $37,000 from a dealer in Michigan (Muskegon Nissan, whom were excellent). I flew out there and bought it. My total costs after flight, tax, title, and registration were about $40,000 all in, but I used it as a vacation to see Niagara Falls, Saratoga Springs, and a few other places as well.

The day I flew out to pick up the car I got a call from a dealer in Chicago offering me $35,000, but at that point the deal was already done. This was back in August of 2015, so my point is... I think if you can find a new one for around $35,000 it may be worth the peace of mind (not to mention - only one owner on resale), instead of taking a risk over $2,500 bucks.

Keep us posted on how you make out and good luck!
Very good advice! Thank you
