I try to avoid as much traffic as possible by getting to work an hour early and leaving an hour early (it helps to work for yourself). Even during rush hour, I have an alternate route that allows me to drive at 50 mph in 6th gear for half my commute. This is why I get 19 mpg even though I tend to drive pretty aggressively.

My wife has had to drive it a few times to work (across town in horrible stop-go traffic) and cannot break the 15 mpg threshold.

I averaged 21mpg @80 mph in my boosted Z driving from LV to PHX. That included passing 5 cars at a time and a few spurts. If it's a lot of steady stage driving, mpg isn't bad at all
