Congrats! I had the same idea when I graduated two years ago. It took a full year and a half to manifest itself.

What i would do is go in a dealership now and find out the process of how to order one. Find a dealership you want to work with.

I'm assuming weather in colorado gets icy. I know a lot of people on this forum have a second car to drive in the winter, or they swap to a seasonal tire for the winter.
