I remember back in '66 my old man saying 'any idiot can drive a car hard but it takes a man with skill to drive it smooth.' (yeah, I'm old as h3ll.) Just think about making it smooth. Feather the clutch a little until you get used to it. By that I mean give it a little gas then slip the clutch out slowly until it catches. You want to get away from feathering it eventually because it'll wear it out if you do it forever but while you're learning for a few days it's okay.
I drove m/t from the time I was 15 until I was in my 50's. I tried the manual in the 2013 Nismo and decided to go with the a/t in the base model. I decided at my age I just don't want to deal with all that shifting. After a while my old knee starts to hurt. Why deal with that? I'm not a racer. Last edited by 10MPlayer; 07-16-2013 at 11:11 PM.
