Default 135i to 370Z

Hey guys, just picked up a brand new 2012 370Z. You guys have seen plenty of these so here's one picture of my car at Sonics lol. I forgot to eat all day due to the excitement of a brand new car.

Sport package with 6MT

Anyway, I used to drive a 135i with DCT transmission. I never paid much attention to the Z until I started going to the track with a couple of friends.

Here's pictures of my 135i:

just curious but why the swap....those 135i's have so much tuning potential over the Z

Both beautiful cars. But I need to know like the rest, why the swap? I'm not a big fan of the 1 series but mod wise the 1 blows the Z out of the water in a straight line.

Not all people are interested in straight line performance. There's sth called race track. I guess that's where the op has more interest and did the swap.

Yeah, I was considering the 135i myself prior to getting my Z a few weeks ago. I am curious to know why you hocked yours for the Z. I didn't get the 135i because once I researched the Z and observed it from every angle I just couldn't stay away, its a better car in my mind than any beemer (sports car that is). The Z is my daily driver, and I would figure a lot of people need those back seats. Which is good because that makes less Z's on the road

Tuning potential... sure in a straight line! My 135i put down 370whp, 423wtq and I made M3's look silly on the highway

Thanks for the welcome guys! If you're more of a performance/track oriented driver and drive the 370Z/135i back to back, you'll understand why I made the switch
