Default Betty is Her Name, Thirst is Her Game

She is a mysterious lady with a hunger for high octane, and now that she snagged me, a honey-do list that never stops growing.

As an apartment dweller, the only thing she's been getting is dusty. Apart from the occasional scrub down at the local car wash, she gets no real love.

I feel bad not being able to work on her, but I HATE the idea of someone else putting their hands on her. I don't see the point of having a vehicle like this without being able to care for it myself. Driving is fun, but it gets better when you know the machine you are manipulating.

The deal was too good to pass on, but I am starting to regret the purchase honestly.

Thinking about collecting parts just before a mad campaign for lift space some damn place.

I vote you collect parts until you get a new place. It will be worth it.

I have parts sitting around for years before they get installed

Would if I could. Too many reasons to list why that is not an option.

You bet! She's currently my bread winner at the moment, so I've got to figure out how I can keep her running without putting some other dude's kid through college.

Congrats on the acquisition! Why do you regret the purchase, if I may ask?

Also, living in an apartment, I feel your pain, however, I do use our garage parkhouse with no hesitation and nobody had any complaints yet. I suggest you scout locations nearby where you can work on the car in peace, there are surely some places you could use.
What is on your list?

I am not sure what a garage parkhouse is, but I don't have access to one anyway.

As for guerilla shadetree wrench-bending, I don't know about you, but I perform better in a controlled environment. There is no peace to be had when looking for some random place to take apart your car...

I understand, but if there's no other option, take the full toolbox with you and make sure the weather forecast is nice. It helps to have someone ready on the phone in case something goes terribly wrong.

Or....rent a garage, I guess that option is also available somewhere near you? I've once seen dudes do guerilla wrenching in a mall garage
