VIR in october anyone?

I'll be going to the Nasa Event at VIR for hpde the weekend of October 12th. Will anyone else be out there?

Do you guys choose your students? I wouldn't mind getting instructed by a fellow Z-driver.

Dude, I didnt know you came up this far to instruct. I'm planning on VIR next year with Stanger - would love to have you as an instructor! You'll have to tell me if you plan on going at all

The instructors typically don't, but if you put a bug in the ear of the organization and the instructor backs it up, they can typically make it happen.

yeah, I don't get to choose. Last time I ran with NASA MA, they did give me another forum member to instruct though.

So I waited too long to book a room and ended up with a hotel 8 miles from the track. Oh well, should still be fun.

Last time I went, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Danville. Its a nice hotel, but I discovered the next week when I got to my Las Vegas layover that the $300 I had stashed in an inside pocket of my suitcase for gambling with was gone. That was the only place my suitcase had been since I had put the money in it.

no, I just run in the instructor group, which I think with them might be 3, or might be a separate group they don't publish? I don't remember. Would like to pick your brain there on how to class my car though. I want to start TT.
