So, for $1695 for a single day event, you get 4x 20 minute sessions with 2X 30 minute classroom sessions. Morning sessions have a PACE CAR.
Or, for Track Daze, for $380ish, you get 8x 25 minute sessions, 2X 1 hour classroom sessions, and no pace cars. Both programs give one-on-one instructor feedback. It's the Lamborghini thing, but you might get a chance to learn something I guess...price is obnoxious, though.

You'll still get far more out of that class, than the Lamborghini event, for sure. That was just a shit-show, it seems.

Budget for my next car will depend on how expensive the house is going to be, but I'd say it's probably around the $30-40k range. I'll be looking at the new mustang, camaro, Z, and maybe a used C6/C7. I'd have to wait probably another year for the C7 price to come down. I've also thought about buying a beater DD and just making the other car a track toy, but I don't think I will be going to the track enough to make it worth all that effort/money. I'd rather have one all around DD/performance car that I take to the track maybe 2-3 times a year. Yeah I'd have to make sure about all that before doing anything else. I was thinking something like this or maybe like the Skip Barber Racing School would make a nice little vacation some day in the future. I also want to rent an exotic someday so I can have more fun with it. |
