Looks like maybe those two black screws hold the HID casing in place which would give E/W what he needs.
Yeah that's the thing he wants. His snapped in half.
Sucks though because it means E/W is gonna have to crack his headlights again. Feelin' lucky?
he can have it!
wait? what do you mean crack his headlights again? |
I think the troll is that we're going to convince him to crack his headlights open again and they're going to melt into goo.

Yeah that's precisely the part he needs. Oh right you can just go through the back of the housing to get at the bulbs. He should be good to go.

I don't think he'll need it. We figured out the jenga puzzle/ballast last time around.

with the ballast ATTACHED haha
Awww, sucks cuz I have the passenger side.
You do need to open up the housing in order to swap that part because it's part of the projector. Wait up, let me take a few pic's for you to see! http://i50.tinypic.com/15a611.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/a3ihoy.jpg |

Wouldnt the passenger and the drivers side be the same, I would think so.
Negative, the studs holding onto the projector bracket has L and R orientation.

Damn dude, its an entire piece, fuuuuuuck.:facepalm::facepalm:
It's not too bad as long as you have the part.
So im guessing to get this piece out, I will have to completely disassemble the headlight, no way around it.
yes unfortunately! after disassemble you'll need to unscrew both adjustment bolt and a clip to remove the projector. shouldn't be hard though.
yeah to get the entire projector out, you'll have to...bake it again.
