Sometime late this week/early next week: Fix DLR LED fog light kit

10/14 Install new black carbon Z front/rear emblems.

10/21 Drop off car for wheel powder. I'm thinking about leaving a silver lip around the edge. Thoughts?

10/26 Drop off car at Daedalus for headlight fix, halo install, chrome blinker bulb install

11/12 FI exhaust and HFCs ship

Not sure about that. You have everything else on the car blacked out so the silver wouldn't really go with anything. Maybe you could get someone to do a photoshop for you? That's how I decided what color to paint my front lip.

Well the lugs are going to remain silver and I could also leave the center caps silver to go with the lip. Powdering the lugs isn't a good idea anyway plus the rotors are still going to be silver so...

I don't know anyone who's good with photoshop

I would demand:
-Reimbursement for tow
-Full inspection of vehicle to check for engine block wear/damage
-More free oil changes.

If they refuse, tell them you're going to Nissan corporate. Bob is a good guy and has done right by me in the past though (even when he didn't have to)

I stay calm all the times but my chin muscles won't let me. They blame on my oil cooler, that's so nice. Oh yeah, no more oil change and will be a bad cus. survey.

daedalus.customs never answer my emails. Called them, talked to some dude, he said he will check the price and call me back "real quick" ... never did. wtf? I wanna pay just to get my headlights done

Tony, They're BRAND new. They just settled into their new shop/office.

They met with me last night after hours and laid out options etc. They're just starting up so be patient. They now have a facebook page up and look to have a website up and running shortly.

Not going to post their facebook page here because I think they're not a sponsor (yet) and that might be against the rules.

That's crap. Did you speak to bob? You went from brand new oil change to NO oil in the engine in one day due to an oil cooler? It's like 50 degrees outside. Unless you were trying to break the sound barrier with the car, that makes absolutely zero sense.

So check what I found (and immediately purchased) for super cheap on ebay.

Three questions:

Yup, I installed the cooler just right after the 2nd oil change and haven't had a problem until now. Did talk to Bob and he try to get a leak down compression test for me later today. Hopefully the leak test comes out good. Crossed fingers

Yikes! I just got my oil changed there an hour or so ago. After reading this, I ran out to check the level just in case.

That really sucks. Hope they make things right for you.

Man, Im soo sorry to hear about this. Damn dude. Thats kinda one reason why I like doing my own maintenance on my own car. Even if they're "professionals"

Welp, I sold the interior chrome pieces for $40 total. I'll break down the rest and sell them once I get them here and see what I have left after the install.

Daedalus is going to break them down for me so I'll part them out nicely for you.

I just had my oil changed there too. I would be absolutely stunned if they don't take care of you. Bob is a good guy.

-Clear shrouds

E/W I don't think I can give you the clippy thing without destroying the entire black housing but I'll take some pictures once I get the lights here.

Well, the guy just called me back and said everything is fine, but the leak down compression hasn't done yet, it should be done by 11 am tomorrow. All it was is the guy did the oil change DID NOT TIGHTEN the oil filter properly :confused::shakes head: Sorry DM, I got your thread sideway :tup:

Edit: That said, are they going to reimburse you for your tow and/or give you "free stuff" for damn near destroying your engine?

Well, I don't think I want any offer from them, once is enough. btw, I told my uncle about we did the hight light and pointed at your car, he loves it

If you could just take a picture of the inside portion, where the HID bulb slides into place, if that piece comes in one big piece, I'll just buy that. Im not sure how it breaks down. And you wont know until you get everything back.

That's not trolling at all...? That's the picture we wanted to see I think. He wants those little metal clip doohickies that hold the HID bulb in place.
