dm, should've never tried to redo your headlights lol

I felt like we got lucky the first time around, and I was really apprehensive if we woulda been lucky twice.

Yeah I'm wondering if I should use this opportunity to black out my boomerangs. Not sure if it would look better on my car or not. Also not sure if it's worth risking the other headlight.

Screw it, I'll just take the safe route and swap the lenses.

Uh if you're going to make changes, now would be the time to do it. You're going to have to crack them both anyway to swap lenses right?

John got back to me and said that Cliff will get me a quote by COB today.

Khoi, I need that connection that you have for car alarm installs. Thanks man, can you PM your contacts information?

No I decided to just not make any changes. Wasn't sure if I wanted to do it or not. As it is, I'd only have to crack open one headlight, swap the lenses, and then re-seal it. Should take much less time since I'd only have to do one headlight and I'm not doing any painting.

Hopefully. The soaking wet cardboard idea worked pretty well. Gonna use that next time instead of the aluminum foil.

eastwest2300 10-10-2012 10:28 AM

Yeah, you gotta take every precaution you can. Dont take any chances.

Hey Khoi! Haha super busy, I know – it's my own fault. Your old teg is the last alarm install I've done, so I haven't been doing it for awhile now. I may start doing it in the spring/summer if time permits but I'm quite busy with projects and out-of-state travel until then.

D this is his response after I posted on his fb :( busy man

I still want to know how that guy knew I was at Criswell today. I didn't notice anyone else there when I dropped it off.

Meeting with Cliff and John tonight at their shop to finalize the estimate.
