Are you gonna break these down yourself?

dmhenderson 10-09-2012 09:06 PM

No. Whenever I find a shop, it'll be done professionally.

eastwest2300 10-09-2012 09:23 PM

sweet..

dmhenderson 10-09-2012 11:31 PM

Any idea on a shop that'd do the fixing? D&V won't touch it and Kevin's only suggestion was to ship the lights off to 180customs in NYC but uh...that won't work.

Need to find someone local.

eastwest2300 10-09-2012 11:55 PM

Nope, i dont know anyone off the top of my head, but if you're gonna pay someone to do it anyways, why not ship it off to 180customs. Just have them disassemble them and send them back.

dmhenderson 10-10-2012 06:12 AM

Because I can't ship off all 4 headlights or I won't have a car to drive.

eastwest2300 10-10-2012 06:34 AM

They have a pretty fast turn around time from what I hear. Just an option though, Im sure you'll figure it out.

dmhenderson 10-10-2012 08:01 AM

Yeah I'm going to sniff around through body shops/other gearhead connections. Someone will know a guy who does this sort of thing.

dmhenderson 10-10-2012 08:20 AM

As usual, Khoi has all the answers:

I can walk you through it, its not that hard. Take off all pieces, pop in the oven, 250 degrees for 10 minutes, peel apart.

Haha yes, we've been down that road before. That's how I ended up with scorched headlights.
