The thing was I ask them how much to change my transmission and differential oil, they said about $200 bucks labor only, and I when to my friend's shop did all myself in less than 30 min.

BTW Daedalus customs is about 5 minutes outside of Germantown. If you want stuff done, their prices are super competitive.

I'm going with the super thin halos.

Yes. Mmm.

WTF?! Still telling me i have no reps to give out...:(

When I had my oil change done at the dealership (before I knew how to do it myself) I brought my own oil and they only charged me like $20 for labor and the oil filter.

Yes this shop seems like they know their stuff. REALLY good price and they're throwing in halos and chrome blinker bulbs for super cheap. On top of that, they're going to do it all in about a day, clean up my sealant mess and moisture test the lights before reinstalling.

They're also going to break down the remaining parts for easy sale after they're done.

That's awesome dude! Can't wait to see them when it's done.

edit.....I highly recommend to change your transmission fluid if you can. I can feel the gears so much better than it was.

I changed both of those at like 1000 miles.

Sometime late this week/early next week: Fix DLR LED fog light kit

10/14 Install new black carbon Z front/rear emblems.

10/21 Drop off car for wheel powder. I'm thinking about leaving a silver lip around the edge. Thoughts?

10/26 Drop off car at Daedalus for headlight fix, halo install, chrome blinker bulb install

11/12 FI exhaust and HFCs ship

It sounds like a "show car" to me..:icon17:

dmhenderson 10-10-2012 10:02 PM

Silver lip on the rims or no?

b1adesofcha0s 10-10-2012 10:07 PM

Not sure about that. You have everything else on the car blacked out so the silver wouldn't really go with anything. Maybe you could get someone to do a photoshop for you? That's how I decided what color to paint my front lip.

eastwest2300 10-10-2012 10:10 PM

Thats a good idea mr. blades.

dmhenderson 10-10-2012 10:28 PM

Well the lugs are going to remain silver and I could also leave the center caps silver to go with the lip. Powdering the lugs isn't a good idea anyway plus the rotors are still going to be silver so...

I don't know anyone who's good with photoshop
