Opps, didn't mean to compare brotha, but his HL buffed out nicely, you should get it buff too.

Actually, it looks like I'm gonna get his buffed out one since he just bought new ones :p

Def. your best choice Sir, it's nice to see it in person than his photo!

dmhenderson 10-10-2012 09:34 AM

Yeah I'm just going to give Shahid my old lenses once Daedalus does their thing. They're getting me a quote today.

Hey Mark, what are you getting done at Criswell Nissan?

Daytime running lights (LEDs) shorted out - one of the sets is taking on water. Since I purchased them with the vehicle, the dealership warrantied them (along with my 3G intake).

Did you see me there or something?

dmhenderson 10-10-2012 09:40 AM

Oh sweet Daedalus is located in Gaithersburg too.

Good stuff Shahid. I think once you switch out the cover, yours will be pretty badass, just my 2 cents.

dmhenderson 10-10-2012 10:04 AM

Shocker
"Yeah you were right, the moisture in the LEDs caused the short, we'll have to order the part and let you know when it comes in."

No sh*t. I could have told you that without you stealing my damn car for the day.

To add to what the other guy said, the defect in the headlights is BARELY noticable and the only reason I'm getting it fixed is because I show the car and I'm extremely anal retentive.

Unless you are directly on top of the vehicle and actively looking for headlight defects, you will not notice either of the "issues".

dm, should've never tried to redo your headlights lol

Yeah I'm wondering if I should use this opportunity to black out my boomerangs. Not sure if it would look better on my car or not. Also not sure if it's worth risking the other headlight.

Screw it, I'll just take the safe route and swap the lenses.
