Headlight modification?

yeah I personally think the flat black looks best but again when the sun hits it, flat black has that chalkish texture/look to it so when the sun hits it, it looks almost gray.. i dont really know how to explain it. My friend's g37 was originally done in flat black then we reopened it to do semi black just because he hated the way it looked during the day

the semi black takes all that away and isn't super glossy either

this is matte black housing with gloss shroud

just like Khoi said, it does have this grayish hue when the sun hits directly and it looks cheap.

I was thinking of doing mine in gun metal to match my future wheel color.

That's what is making me rethink this. If I do black, it will at least go with the blacked out fangs.

BTW, found the paint in Walmart for $4.34 per can.

No link, I went in the store and found it. It's not semi gloss black, it's called satin black. It's the same paint used in the headlight blacking out DIY's on this forum. It's like 75% gloss I think. Krylon Fusion Satin Black. I posted a pic of it earlier in this thread.

Hey Tony, I think Khoi is pretty much guiding us through this process, Im not sure if he's actually doing his, his might already be done..and honestly, I'd say 8 is enough, what do you guys think?
