Well that monday is a off day. So you can write me in as a strong maybe.

Tigger 09-18-2014 10:39 AM

Hope everyone is doing well! Been a hot minute since we got together. I was thinking this Saturday is looking pretty clear for me aside from doing house work. I can take a break from that to come out. Nothing big planned. Just meet up for coffee in the late morning. Maybe 11? Normal spot.

Anyone down for this?

I'm rebuilding my deck starting tomorrow. Got a friend helping me. If he bails on me or we get done friday, then I can come out for coffee.

Cool man. Let me know. The time isnt set. Just an idea. I'll be at the house painting most likely so i'll be looking for any excuse to leave.

Darketch 09-19-2014 09:55 PM

Deck didn't get completed today but got the framing done, got some friends coming over to help tomorrow. Up to 3k so far, so it's starting to cut into my fun money for the Z. Did manage to get a 3M clear bra today. Freaked out after I got a rock chip. Highly recommend Dr Colorchip and the folks who did my clear bra. FYI, 2 doors down from the clear bra folks is a rim repair shop. Saw their work.....keep it in mind if u get road rash, these folks know what they are doing.

If ur going to get a clear bra, I had a positive experience with these guys.

That's where I got mine done! They were awesome!

I also highly recommend professional rim repair (the shop that's two doors down). I've done business with them several times for various reasons (fixed curb rash/repainted wheel, had tires mounted twice by them) and they are great to work with as well.

JGuebara14 09-20-2014 10:57 AM

Any meets going down today?

Voice59 09-28-2014 12:53 PM

Hey if it's not too cold once I get back, I'm definitely down to roll out somewhere. I still got a couple months left on this deployment but it'd be cool to meet up with y'all once it's over.

What up man! I'm always down for a drive. I almost gave up the Z over the weekend but my 'ol lady talked me out of it.

wolfesquire 09-29-2014 09:51 AM

Anyone have a shop to suggest for a dyno and tune? Also how much they charge?

That new Charger don't look to bad I might take a second look at the SRT8. I had a '12 R/T before the Z and I really liked it! But it was too many on the road.

Dyno Tuned Performance - Holland Rd in Virginia Beach. There's also CIN in South Carolina. And AAM I believe can do it in MD

I don't have faith in anyone locally to do the tune. Nobody seems to have experience. I'm either going to AAM or Moore Automotive.

There's also R/T Tuning. They apparently have a tuning special going on right now. May want to give them a shout.

In my opinion pretty much any american "muscle" car that comes out will be flooding the streets within the year. Don't get me wrong, they look good, but I still like the look on peoples faces when they try to figure out what our car is. Everyone knows the 350, and if you're a car enthusiast then it's not hard to tell the 370 apart. But from the non car enthusiasts, it's still awesome to hear "what kind of car is that". That's just me though.

Your car is fine haha.

It's only $230ish I think.

Still $230! Plus a helmet (add $400). Plus new tires after since mine are getting close to needing replaced (Add $1,300). Plus gas to/from and racing (add $300). That got pretty expensive!

Could probably borrow a helmet (or I got mine on craigslist for $60)

Meh, I could maybe agree with you on the tires

Gas is probably more like $180ish (I figure 3 tank fulls at $60ish a pop)

but there is a hotel/food costs too obviously.

Yeah. :/ I'd absolutely like to go! But I just can't swing it right now with all the other projects going on and the timing of it all. By next spring I may be in my new toy. :stirthepot: ZDayZ for sure either way!

I'm down. Hey! We should do it early and if anyone wants, y'all are invited to my new house to watch football and smoke cigars.

Btw, just drove by this past weekend and it was still open. I'll call and verify for this weekend.

Hell yeah! Be nice to see y'all again. I'll try to twist Adrian's arm on Saturday when I see him at the hobby shop. He's a tad bit bigger than me but I think I can do it. :icon14: If anything I'll just steal his FI exhaust and hold it for ransom.

Wow, really lol. I think the verbal abuse on the forums is enough. Mike - u will have to line up behind me this time. I haven't been out since u shamed me with ur FI exhaust on our last ride.
