I think they are leaving Pungo. I did a one event in 11 and 12. The people were nice (like most in the area), but I found the course to be on the un-engaging side. I understand they were limited by the lot, but I still think they could have designed a more engaging course. From what I heard, they are moving to another lot this year.

I really hope so, that was the one thing preventing me from racing with them

They like to "maximize" run time by running two laps or having to use the same part twice in a run. Here is the problem. They put the crossover near the end of the course, which means you really don't get to send two cars. You really sit around and do nothing for half a day. As much as I like the people and the location, I couldn't stand what they were doing at Pungo in the two times I was there.

This is the second time I ran there. First course was so-so, this one was flat out horrible. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAgpAUxTCF4

Hey! Sumospeed this Saturday in VB. You should make the trip down. Meeting up with a couple other guys and strolling over together. Probably around 9:15-9:30am - ish. $5 to get in.

Anyone else interested? I'm also hosting a private meet also after the show. Times are still kind of up in the air depending on what the other two guys prefer. I already posted a 6:30pm meet up time but trying to move it to right after after the Sumospeed event so we can hit the beach, the boardwalk, chill, do some pictures, have a quick afternoon cruise and then dinner.

But I guess we'll see. Anyone here is invited to join. I'll be out and about all damn day so hit me up!

Sorry for digging up an old thread.

Do you know the guy who drives this Z? I see him in traffic, we wave, but as I said, we're in traffic.

I was there last year. Nice turnout of older Zs and a bunch of good stuff raffled off.

I am scheduling another meet for mid-July. Details will be posted in a few weeks. Turnout last night was excellent and it would be great to get some people out from this forum as well. So start looking at your calenders and work schedules!

Yeah. Not sure who that was. Just a random Z to take pictures of.

What color is yours Tigger? I went down to Haygood and hung out for a bit. I left pretty early. I saw a pretty sweet looking white roadster with white wheels in the area. And I think I saw a monterey blue Z around there as well.

Mine is GM. I've seen the MB one quite a few times. Think he's there every weekend. I would have been easier to spot with the Stillen fascia on but since I went back to stock I'm afraid I'm just another non-sport Z.

After I get back from New Mexico I'll probably head out that way again. Drop me a PM if you or anyone else here wants to meet up there. Wont be available until the end of the month.

Why'd you go back to stock? Yeah I won't be available til the end of the month as well. I'm stuck out here on the Bush. I'll let you know if I can swing through.
