If anyone is interested in my barely used current halos, I'd rather drop them off than ship them.

Dude, you're gonna open them again.. (having a shop do it) but AGAIN?!!?

Ahh, gotcha. I guess I never took notice cause you didn't point them out like you did all your other mods. :p

Are you gonna get D&V to paint your tails too then? That's where Bert and Shahid got theirs done.

You didn't really need new ones to get them refinished, you should know this more than anyone else. You just turned a $100 expense into a $300 expense. For that you get a big

Nope I got mine painted at Wilson's Auto Body, Bert's are vinyl tinted by D&V IIRC.

Dude, if the price is right, yeah..

b1adesofcha0s 02-01-2013 06:49 PM

If you take your tail lights out and give them to a body shop, I think most places charge like $100 to paint them.

eastwest2300 02-01-2013 06:50 PM

I'd say you have 3 possible options:
1) Keep the OEM lights in case you decide to go back to the OEM look and get the old ones repainted.
2) Sell the ones you just bought and get the old ones repainted.
3) Paint the new ones and sell the old ones.

Personally I'd go with option 2 because that could get you like 3 more tank fulls of gas in the Z :icon17:

b1adesofcha0s 02-01-2013 06:56 PM

Or 2 tanks of gas and a Costco membership :rofl2:

Dude, im glad they won too, but I tell ya, 5 more minutes in that game, they would have lost, their momentum was gone after that blackout.

RandyD 02-04-2013 09:01 AM

i was zipping down rt 81 in southern new york - very wide open road :driving:

then i got a signal - let off the gas... signal got stronger - let off more... then around the big sweeping turn passed the stakeout... down to 5 over - no issues.. :)

eastwest2300 02-04-2013 09:20 AM

Not really. They got their momentum back with that goal line stand. They ran out the clock for the last 2 mins. With another 5 mins on the clock, they could have just drove down the field. The power outage did swing the momentum the other way though.

eastwest2300 02-04-2013 09:28 AM

That momentum came finally came with 8 seconds left on the clock, thank goodness they found their defense the last play of the game.

b1adesofcha0s 02-04-2013 09:31 AM

More like with 1:45 left on the clock.......

This.

They could have made big plays, but they didnt need to.

However, the safety? Friggen brilliant.

I was skeptical, but man, they played it perfectly.

Dude, in the second half, Baltimore found every way possible in trying to lose that game.. Look at SF's offensive output. It was huge, kinda like both teams switched roles in each half.

Agreed. Giving it to the punter was even better.

I know. I'm just saying that Baltimore got their momentum back when they stopped SF at the goal line and got the ball back with 1:45 left. After that they just needed to run out the clock.

eastwest2300 02-04-2013 09:57 AM

im listening to tony kornhieser here at work, and even he said it, if the game were 5 quarters, the 49ers would have won by 2 touchdowns.

Believe me, I was rooting for the Ravens, but I was like, ohh man, these boys are gonna blow this huge lead.

They did, but Baltimore's defense really stepped it up a notch at the end. They were making clutch plays, and Kaepernick was getting pressured (finally, since SF's O-line was dominating Baltimore).

I thought SF had it, right until about 2 minutes were left.

Nah I don't buy it. SF got lucky with the power outage because with the momentum the Ravens had going, it would have only gotten worse for them.

My favorite play of the game though was the bomb to Jacoby Jones. That was just crazy. I thought he should have been the MVP of the game.

eastwest2300 02-04-2013 10:01 AM

I thought we were witnessing the ultimate collapse of a team that was dominating up until the power outage.

Im inclined to agree. It's easy to just call it how it looked, as long as you ignore the very last drive/goal line stand.

I knew Flacco would get MVP - strong, consistant performance. No interceptions...he had a great game.

I'm just hoping we can grab some of the FA that Baltimore will have to let go of because of Flacco's new contract. Especially someone like Boldin.
