Boldin has a 5m+ cap number. He's gone for sure. Besides, he's getting up there in years for a receiver. Too much to pay for a wideout when you have so many other weapons.

Charlie Ward? He was ok as a Knickerbocker... But that's about it.

dmhenderson 02-04-2013 10:23 PM

He was drafted by two sports and didn't really excel at either on a pro level but I let it slide because he was ridiculous at the college level.

I guess you have to give Peter Warrick his props then, although he flamed out as a pro, for the most part.

eastwest2300 02-05-2013 08:54 AM

And warrick dunn? He was the man.

Yo Steve

As soon as I get off work today, Im gonna pull out the seats in the S2000, remove the leather, and get them ready for the heat sensors, I should get them through UPS by tomorrow, hopefully if everything goes right, I should have the project done by friday.

D, make sure you disconnect the negative terminal before you take the seat off the car;)

eastwest2300 02-06-2013 11:40 AM

Why is that? I dont believe the seats are plugged into anything. Im actually pretty sure of that.

The driver seat actually has an airbag sensor. Unplug the battery before you unplug that or else you might have your airbag warning light on when you start the car again, thus requiring you to go to the the dealer to fix it.

Also you want the battery disconnected while you wire stuff up.

Thank you sir, I didnt even know. Have you already done yours? How'd you wire it up for power?

m4a1mustang 02-06-2013 11:55 AM

i tapped into the 12v line for the power outlet.

For both of them? Thats a good idea. Its right there.

m4a1mustang 02-06-2013 12:02 PM

Ya

eastwest2300 02-06-2013 12:05 PM

Thank you brother. How do you like them so far? Did we get a good product?

m4a1mustang 02-06-2013 12:07 PM

They are good. Mine are underneath Clazzio covers which are a little thick, so it takes time to heat up. Under the factory leather they should heat up faster. Nice quality kit.

Good stuff man, thats awesome, Im sooo looking forward to doing this. I got all the hog rings, and the pliers, Im ready to do this damn thing. Dude you shoulda took pics of custom mod placement of the buttons.

m4a1mustang 02-06-2013 12:18 PM

Good luck with it, man.

Crappy pic but you can see the buttons on either side of the 12v.

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-4...205_073922.jpg

It calls for a 20mm drill bit but the only thing I had was a 19mm hole saw. So I used that and a round file.

BTW, door cards are out right now... being shipped off for upholstery.

eastwest2300 02-06-2013 12:27 PM

I like it! excellent job man!

eastwest2300 02-06-2013 06:58 PM

Hey steve, Im removing the leather from the seats, wowww, a complete 1000% pain in the azz.. I got the driver's side ready, Im about 50% done with the passenger side, man its a b1tch.

dmhenderson 02-06-2013 07:08 PM

TK knob docked in California today and is now slowly moving towards maryland.

eastwest2300 02-06-2013 07:14 PM

Nice..

RandyD 02-07-2013 08:43 AM

how much are you guys expecting to shell out for the heated seat upgrade?

eastwest2300 02-07-2013 08:52 AM

It wasnt much. Less than $80 for the heat sensors, and Im doing the install. Last night I removed the leather from the seats, and today the sensors should come via UPS.

XwChriswX 02-07-2013 08:53 AM

I wonder if a base model Z has the wiring already ran for a Touring seat conversion, or if I'd have to run and make taps myself. Anyone know any info about this as for next winter heated seats would be nice.

eastwest2300 02-07-2013 08:53 AM

Let me just say this, upholstery is a serious pain in the azz. I guess thats why shops charge you an arm and a leg to upgrade what you have.

In my case it was $80 for the heating kit and $299 for my new seat covers.

From what I've seen other members do, there is already a wiring harness to plug in the Touring seats if you swap them out from a Base. :tiphat:

:icon17: Yeah, all those clips and hog rings and stuff. If you ever wondered how oem leather stays taught on the seats... now you know!

Oh bro, I knew how it was, I replaced my cloth seats with a leather upgrade in my eclispe, thats 2 seats, a back bottom seat and 2 flip down seats, it took all day and most into the night.

And I'm guessing the Airbag sensors would just be unplug/plug in as well too??

Hmmm...

eastwest2300 02-07-2013 08:58 AM

Steve, thanks for giving me a heads up with disconnecting those harnesses under the seat, in mine, there were 3, and the main security unit is actually located under the seat.

RandyD 02-07-2013 09:01 AM

dealer was quoting $500 for upgrading the bottoms of 2 seats in the new Rogue... not sure if that's worth it.. sounds like it's close.
