Different strokes for different folks. But after owning my m3 vert, Ill NEVER buy another vert sports car unless I can afford brand new (which I cant unless i get a VW eos or whatever its called, which sure as sh*t isnt happening). The creaks/rattles/noise and not to mention, the extra 400lbs, of the m3 vert, couldnt justify the niceness of having the top down on nice days.

Having the top down on an 80 degree sure was epic though.

Performance really depends on how the car was built. Designed as a convertible from the start they are good, but sometimes there can be a weight penalty due to the extra support structure needed. Built as a coupe the S2000 might have weighed 2600 lbs vs. 2800.

Cars designed as coupes then turned into convertibles almost always have structural issues that lead to creaks, A TON of extra weight, etc.

Ugh I can't wait to open Steve's Garage. I'm going to have a lift, corner scales, and lots of tools (and tools for cars too) to give Bobo and Kirk a run for their money. Gotta win back b1ades and shado.

Yeah, a week after I traded in the m3 I drove my friends coupe m3, it was a night and day difference. No creaks or annoying noises. Im sure the s2k is a better built car than the m3 vert is.
