That's the old one too (european only car). This one is pretty sweet but the rumor is they are bringing a new Focus RS to the states, which would be the ST on steroids.

I wish they can bring the RS here, I really love that one

Now you can get an incredibly dull and overpriced Accord or Civic. And that's really it.

:iagree: even the civic si used to be sportier

I hope Honda will become fun again. Toyota has with the FRS

chieuxuan 10-14-2012 08:08 AM

I heard rumor that Honda will come out a mini version of the up coming NSX, price range about mid 50s, will see about that

Sorry I couldn't make it to Richmond yesterday guys... I got all excited on saturday when I realized I could make it there, but on Saturday night at 11ish PM, a car full of drunk people ran me off the damn road and I destroyed a sign. I was trying to sell the car too :(

Anyways me and my buddy are fine, but that's what went down. Oh and the other car took off.

Yeah bro. The insurance company is supposed to give me an estimate around 2pm. I'll keep you guys updated. How much do you guys think I can grab an 07 or 08 NISMO for if I try to grab it in cash? Specially this time of the year when it seems to be impossible to sell a damn RWD car. I'm willing to go basically anywhere in the country to grab one.

Even if I can't get a NISMO I want to grab an 07 or 08. It's a good upgrade from my 03. HR engines are always nice :)

eastwest2300 10-15-2012 12:55 PM

I'd get you atleast an '09 370.. hell, why not? lol

Well that means NISMO 350z vs base model 370z. If I got the 370z than I still have thousands of dollars worth of modification I wanna do, but If I get the NISMO, than most of my mods are already done.

Plus I am pretty sure a NISMO 350z can be picked up cheaper than a base 370z :(

A base/sport 370Z should outperform a NISMO 350Z. And it wont look nearly as boy-ricer.

Im shooting to have track wheels and tires for next season, MINIMUM. Right now, Im planning on running a square 18x9.5" setup with spacers in the rear.

Well I just got the tires changed and the place is pretty good. Brought the tires there myself and they only charged me $80 even for the swap. Did a pretty good job, but took 1.5 hrs when they told me it would take 1. Not a big deal though. Had some minor "damage" with the paint on my wheels, but that's mostly because of the cheap DIY job I did with them. Didn't scratch the wheel, more like pushed the paint around on the surface of it. I think that's a risk for me just because of how I painted it. No where near as bad as it was with the plasti dip though. It's pretty small and not too noticeable so I'm not worried about it.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone who's in the area. Here's their website: Welcome to Import Sports Online!

Yup that was for all 4 wheels. They're mainly a Honda shop so you'll love them even more :roflpuke2:

shadoquad 10-15-2012 01:47 PM

blades, did that include the cost of an alignment, or did you just have them mounted without aligning?

Not sure if srs question :|

That was just for mounting/unmounting tires, no alignment.

Absolutely serious question. When you mount different wheels/tires, people tend to also get an alignment, just to be sure that everything still lines up ok with different wheels/tires.

Edit: My bad, forgot you were on the same rims.

eastwest2300 10-15-2012 02:07 PM

I didnt know that Shado, good to know.

Yeah same rims so no need for an alignment.

Blades, we gotta get you some new rims.. just like I need new tires.. I got the rims.

Nah I'm trying to just focus on performance now. If I get new wheels, it would just be so I can fit wider tires on there.

When you get new wheels, they'll be attached to a more expensive performance car :roflpuke2:
