I don't think it's so much a bet as it is wishful thinking.

dmhenderson 01-13-2013 01:38 PM

I spent all morning pricing out GT-Rs :3

(speaking of wishful thinking)

dmhenderson 01-13-2013 01:56 PM

Looks like 95k is about the best I can do locally.
Tack on another 10k for the Varis kit
Tack on another 2k to paint it

God I'm going to blow so much on the S2K interior. I think I'm about to buy a LED gauge cluster.

Thank goodness it's already sooo fast that you don't need to spend any money on the engine. :icon17:

m4a1mustang 01-13-2013 04:30 PM

Probably will. With the glow of the incandescent bulbs the OEM cluster looks... dated. Crisp LED lighting really modernizes it.

Not sure which one I like more. Red or Blue. The car is red and the interior is black with red stitching. All blue might break it up a little bit... IDK.

b1adesofcha0s 01-13-2013 04:31 PM

I like the blue look better, but red is probably better for your car.

Would probably do red if only because it scatters less light at night.

chieuxuan 01-13-2013 04:45 PM

I like red too

b1adesofcha0s 01-13-2013 04:46 PM

then red would match the best.. but i would prolly still go with blue just to be different.

chieuxuan 01-13-2013 04:59 PM

To me, blue will get bored faster than red :twocents:

crappy iphone pics so its hard to see the blue glow, but i think you can get the idea.. i love the glow of blue in interiors...

depends.. the red and amber colored interior lights are very common, and kinda gives the car a older feel.. if you remember almost every car back in the 80's and 90's have the amber colored lights.. maybe its just me but most of the cars i have bought have had the red/amber interior colored lights.. so the blue to me feels newer..

Though I need to save some money for the new C7 so I probably won't even buy a replica ($2500).
