omg is it me or are the chinese merchants getting worse? I ordered some spring loaded hinges ($4 for both) March 31, they tell me dilivery by April 6-11. Does it have to pass through customs or something? Also, Kanji = Japanese, not Chinese.

I had a chinese hood on my car......note the key word is HAD? Such crap....it rubbed my strut tower bar raw!

I would not be comfortable using the base brakes on track for an extended period. Not in a 3,200+ lb car.

Hyperdrive is like one full HPDE session but chances are you'll be going a little slower.

Now if you take it easy under braking you might be OK. I know I would overheat the hell out of the brakes, though. You can cook the base ones pretty easily on the street if you drive hard enough (like a fast Dragon run... ask Red_Zed).

Looks like I might have to start saving for a bbk upgrade. I'll probably try to find a used set of akebono brakes in the summer. If anyone here is planning on selling their akebono's, I call first dibs

I think it might be best if I hold off on tracking my car till next spring. I should have a house by then which will make everythomg a lot easier. I can get an oil cooler and look for a used akebono kit in the summer then try out a hyperdrive if I can get them both. Otherwise I can just do AutoX for some driving fun.
