Wanted to go there tomorrow, but they're closed. I'll try to go on Monday if I can. It's only like 10 mins from my house which is awesome if they're good.

Im shooting to have track wheels and tires for next season, MINIMUM. Right now, Im planning on running a square 18x9.5" setup with spacers in the rear.

m4a1mustang 10-13-2012 06:59 AM

Cold morning! I'll either be there on time or closer to 11 depending on when they finish the tint.

RandyD 10-13-2012 07:14 AM

m4a1mustang 10-13-2012 11:35 AM

Good to see you guys. Sorry we couldn't stay for lunch. We'll bring the ST out next time.

Cristobal09 10-13-2012 01:09 PM

Nice seeing you guys even though it was only for a short time. I had to get back to help the inlaws move OUT.

ZCarMan 10-13-2012 04:00 PM

Great to see everyone this morning at the FFX meet! Todai for lunch was awesome as always. I had a hankerin for Todai and it never disappoints.

RandyD 10-13-2012 06:59 PM

Weather turned out to be superb.
Todai was yummy

Skyline was crowded but you could see forever...

m4a1mustang 10-13-2012 07:02 PM

Sad I missed Todai!

Here are some shots of the (dirty) Focus:

Is that what it is, an ST? Is that what Ford calls it? My bad dude, I called it an Escape.

shadoquad 10-13-2012 08:14 PM

ST is cool.

So is the Mazdaspeed3 I sat in tonight.

So is the WRX Dan is selling.

So is a Corvette Z06.

It's a Focus ST. The Escape is their small SUV. :bowrofl:

ZCarMan 10-13-2012 08:17 PM

I liked the review on Top Gear of the ST.

m4a1mustang 10-13-2012 08:19 PM

That's the old one too (european only car). This one is pretty sweet but the rumor is they are bringing a new Focus RS to the states, which would be the ST on steroids.

Its really amazing what they are able to do with turbocharged 4 bangers nowadays. I mean, they've been around for a couple of decades, but the reliability of tourbocharged cars has increased to the point where its worth having and doesn't add too much to the cost.

Needs to be AWD, too

That would make me

Agreed. The 2.0 pushes out 230hp and 280lb-ft to the wheels stock. So far with a tune only it's putting down 250/325. We're reasonably expecting 275-300 whp and 350-400 lb-ft with intake/downpipe/catback/tune.

The best thing, though, is the handling. This car grips and turns like its on rails. I've been really surprised by how good it is. ZDayZ is going to be fun!

That would be cool but then I worry it would be too heavy. At the very least it should get a mechanical LSD.

But AWD would make sense for an RS model. I figure it's going to cost $35k or more.

Its true man, and it's sad. They used to build great cars.

Now you can get an incredibly dull and overpriced Accord or Civic. And that's really it.
