no, I had the headers, y-pipe, and cbe all installed at the same time.
A couple of months later, I had the hfc's installed
and a couple of months after that I had the uprev/dynotune done.

Yes, there was a noticable volume change when I put the hfc's on; both inside the car (which I don't like) and outside (which I love).
But if it's part of the 320rwhp equation, I think I'm going to keep them.
