Pretty sure its the friday-saturday the week before memorial day weekend. I reserved a room for Sunday the 12th to Sunday the 19th when I left.

Got about 220 miles of road ahead of me yet, ugh. Minus blowing an exhaust gasket AND getting a ticket, I had a great time:tup: The roads there are amazing. I think I enjoyed 28 the most. While the Dragon is awesome its also just as scary. The amont of shady sh!t I saw in just a few runs was unbelieveable. Not to mention driving up it prior to my arrival at FVR and seeing a 350 in the woods:ugh2:

We have about 150 to go. Dana has been driving since we got to VA so I have actually been able to relax. Really nice out today.

Quick summary:
-Fuel starvation is really bad @ 1/4 tank
-I now know why Dai said to change my clutch fluid... (hint- it stopped working) :mad:
-Weather was amazing
-Great meeting all of the different people
-I want more parts than ever...
-BLUEZ <-license plate (280Z) following me through the dragon was awesome!
-I won the Z Speed Performance Under Pan!

I think it was 2-3 350s this year. One was in a ditch at the resort somewhere. Another one (blue) looked like it was smashed pretty good. Everyone was OK from what I heard.

I heard that a biker died on Friday but didn't confirm. I know shadoquad and his mom had to administer first aid to a biker and passenger that they saw go down in front of them.

Rick, from our club, picked up a 350 guy and dropped him off with the police (he was OK). He smacked the wall on 129. He said it was either hit a biker that was in his lane or eat the wall. Passenger side airbag deployed. He thought he could drive it but the radiator fan was grinding something and front passenger fender was eating tire...

Haha ugh. I would hate to take a trailer in on the dragon. Even in on the tight section of 28 right before the resort... no way. One of our club members may be trailering his next year.

Deb and got home about 5:00 PM -- trip home was nominal -- did get passed by the NYC 350 gang twice (las time just before we got onto 66 E)

Thanks to everyone for another GREAT ZDayZ -- a great event with special friends (some old and some brand new)

Hope everyone made it home safely - can't wait for next year!

made it home safe and sound. It was great meeting those of you who I did get to meet. Its just getting so big now and I'm spread too thin to get to spend time with everyone.

It was definitely the best one yet though!

Pat and I got home about 6:25PM safe and sound. We actually met the Richmond ZCAR caravan and trailed them for a bit before breaking off when they stopped.

We had a blast this year and are already looking forward to next year! Great seeing everyone and meeting new folks for the first time.

1. Old guy needs to be restrained (yes you)
2. Clingmans dome was the best thing ever.
3. Patricia and Jon = awesome for playing host with their cabin.
4. Abarth = wicked cool.
5. Riding in the trunk of a 370z is actually nice and relaxing.
6. Jay is a terrible Taxi service.
7. Al's Mom is cooler than Al.
8. Steelers > Ravens
9. Steelers > Ravens

Got about 5:50PM safe and sound without a ticket. Met Jon and his wife in the road and they trailed with us until we broke off for a stop.

Had another blast this year, glad to be part of an EPIC ZdayZ like Steve said in FB. Great seeing the MAZOC crew again!

Cabin is already reserved for 2013. 364 days to go.

Jose, it's always great seeing the Richmond crew down there! Hopefully we'll get out to one of the next C&C events :D

The C &C Event is separate from the Richmond Club but it would be good if you guys can make it knowing the distance.

Anyway, the most important thing the Car Show of the ZCAR of Richmond in October!
