I'm not saying cheaper car companies are any more or less reliable, but when your cheap azz Fiord breaks down, it's a more survivable hit to the wallet.

Depends what it is I guess. I've found BMW to define their warranty very broadly. Best company I've dealt with on that front, but like all things, everyone experiences things differently.
