If not, I would go back to CarMax, get it in writing, then go right back to the dealer (provided that it's closer to the 29.7 figure) and say, "Beat this".

If the dealer can beat that appraisal, then why not take it there? At the very least, you can come back and sell to CarMax within 7 days.
