To be fair, the VQ engine is far superior to that Kia engine with known defects. I'd go with Motul 300V and call it a day. You're worrying about something that has more than a 99% chance of not...

Also ...using the stock cooler with the air to air cooler will help warm the oil in the winter ..on colder days 20-30 degrees it will maintain oil temp around 195-200 degrees

It really depends you choose a engine oil cooler that best matches your climate and what temperatures you normally see in the seasons. Running too cold with the VQ37HR engine isn’t good for the life...

I say stay stock. The factory oil stabilizer will work just fine for you since you don't track the car and are way up North. Spend your money on something else like exhaust and intakes.
