Remember with the anti-squeal apply a thin coating and let it cure overnight. That should help reduce the risk of it fouling the piston.

Brake grease is just a high heat tolerant grease. It's fine to coat the back of brake pads, however, I prefer anti-squeal (it's essentially just liquid rubber) it works better. Buy spray brake...
