You need to remove 98% of the panels from the seat back to the rear bumper. Download the FSM and take your time.

FSM = Factory Service Manual Straight forward. You need to unplug rear speakers, and the light in the hatch,

^ easiest way. Also when putting back the biggest piece make sure the anchors are lined up before inserting them. I bent one on each side.

Sounds like Savannah, Ga. I sold my 1990 300zxtt to a guy here. It lasted 3 months. It was driven into a flooded area and sucked water up the intake. Car was totaled due to motor being hydro-locked...

I would stick with the Gen3's The amount of water to reach the Gen3's is about mid door on the side and well IF water reached that high? You've got bigger problems. Gen2's imo are not all...

The "stepped" portion of the housing is a Grey/ Silver color where as the rest of the light housing is Chrome. :driving:
