Installed a Z1 Oil Cooler Today - Something Doesn't Seem Right
No offense to you, but your shop sounds like it is full of idiots. Like Memphis stated, most people on here don't even start to push the car until the oil warms up to 180F or so. With the way it's...

Them telling you that it should never run above 180 is absolute bs. I don't even really push mine hard until the oil gauge reads 180 or higher. I'm running a 25 row cooler with thermostatic...

Just an observation
Before when I didn't have the Z I would look at every new model that came up every year and would wonder how it would be like to own it, after the Z entered my life I still get the same feeling and...

Does Stillen Gen 3 CAI cause you to run lean?
There's a million threads on the topic. The replacement part is 3-400 and the labor cost is whatever it costs for your local shop to r&r the transmission. Most people do a clutch and flywheel at the...

Wait until you can do it and get it tuned. Also, if you have the oem csc in there, set aside the cost to replace it. These cars aren't cheap to run.

It very well could make you run lean. The rule of thumb is that you need a tune after the 3rd breathing mod.

My First Upgrade via Stealership
It's a shame it's like that for u op. My dealership is awesome (Hall Nissan in Virginia Beach). The BEST customer service I've ever had. They always fine a way to give me a discount. For example,...

Matt Farah drives a FI TT 370z
I just don't agree with his steering comment. The Z is perfectly weighted even at stock power. It's heft is needed to drive it correctly. I think the generation gap in handling perception is...

Need help - Car issues
Agreed on everything posted above. Get that thing to a tuner ASAP. Honestly, I'd have it towed there, not drive it.

check tires, suspension, alignment. at 120+ the car feels like you're at a cruising speed on the highway. even up at 150-170 (on roads in mexico) it still feels planted.
