    some machine shops will NOT deck a block unless you request it or they have to, its removing material. you do not need to deck a block to get proper head gasket seal

    Haven't touched the car since I backed it off the trailer and parked it in the shop! Without a new clutch in hand, might as well keep the car in running/driving shape in case I feel like driving it....
