Treadwear ratings vary a lot between manufacturers so I wouldn't pay too close attention to that, depends on your driving style more than anything. I usually keep mine at 36, but of course they warm...

Jumping in to bump this thread, picked up a used Z1 kit with a 25 row Setrab core, thermostatic plate and protective hose wrapping. Could not be happier with the results. Where I would see 220-230...

At over $100 per tire cheaper than the Pilot Super Sport, the Continental ExtremeContact DW is a fantastic tire for the price. Although they are currently on sale for $700 a set...

Anyone here tuned from Modified by KC? I hear lots of mixed reviews on them, but would prefer a dyno tune over an e-tune and data logging. Let me know your opinions on them vs. working directly...

Awesome. I have similar mods - RTP, K&Ns with MAF tubes, catback - and am hoping for ~310whp. Scheduled for June 23rd with Hal for an EcuTek tune and cannot wait, will be making the trip all the way...

You're thinking of the DWS, this thread is about the DW. The added 'S' stands for snow. The DWS are all season tires and could likely get you through a light snow with no issues as long as you don't...

Tone has definitely improved - much deeper overall, a nice rumble at idle and more of a growl under throttle. It's definitely louder around town and under WOT, but somehow highway drone is...
