Hey buddy,

I'm in the final process of trading in my 09 Z touring w/ sport package for a 2012 bmw 135i. Since you have owned both, I was hoping you would give me your opinion regarding power and overall driving fun. My Z just doesn't have enough power for me anymore. The car is lightly modded: Gen 2 stillen intake, test pipes, exhaust, Uprev tune. I love the Z, and it's a great car, but I want a lot more power and the Z just doesn't have the potential dollar for dollar. Let's say compare a Z with the bolt ons listed above vs. a stock 135 w/ only a JB4. Please advise when you have a moment, and thank you for your time to read and respond.

Haha.. Sorry man, but I actually don't care about any hating. Especially if it's online. If people don't take me seriously then I'm not going to cry about it. I'm surrounded by family and friends who make my life the best that I can possibly have. I'm only here to get information. Trash the useless ones and keep the good ones.

I used to have a setup just like this on my 135i...worked surprisingly well although that thing got much hotter much quicker than the Z. Did have to buy a solenoid kit for it otherwise once you turn...

Looks like a manufacturer's defect IMO. No modern car over $15k should have cracking like that before at least 10 years.
