Nope.......just wrapped the empty plugs in plastic to prevent water getting in. I also bought gutter leaf guard at the big box store, (it's steel dipped in plastic, still looks good after years) to dress the empty holes. ( Cut to shape, and Installed from behind the facia with JB Weld. )

You can easily remove the handle for clear coating. The button is loctited on but can be unscrewed. Then just unscrew the orange end cap, slide the carbon fiber sleeve off. That will expose 4 set...
