Nope.......just wrapped the empty plugs in plastic to prevent water getting in. I also bought gutter leaf guard at the big box store, (it's steel dipped in plastic, still looks good after years) to dress the empty holes. ( Cut to shape, and Installed from behind the facia with JB Weld. )

Remove the rod cap & file it down a little...then torque it back on :ugh2:

Yep; I use these...about 28$ or so for 4 & they have screw on tops/bottoms to keep clean. I’m thinking you can get these from Amazon as well :tup:
