    That's because you have to have the ignition ON and engine running when you pull it. Reinsert the fuse, start the engine, and then pull the fuse. And then return the part you don't need :twocents:

    BTW, the most likely reason for your situation is the locking pin did not retract completely. It probably retracted just enough to allow the wheel to turn but not enough to trigger the electrical...

    my local mazda dealership offered me a regular service of an oil change and tire rotation for $500 because they would also lubricate the engine they can go fascinate themselves lol
