Hybrid technology doesn't always mean Tree hugger. Look at the P1, 918 spyder, and le Ferrari... Monster torque curve. I would trade my current Z in for a hybrid Z if it was worth it.

I would be carful with making your car louder for the track. I don't know NC very well but some tracks and autox events have a noise restriction. I would research this before making your car louder....
