Then it broke on me just a little past 60,000 miles. Crazy too how it happened; I just started car, let it warmup & high idle drop, put in gear went about 40-50 feet at 5-10mph in complex garage....

You could go many miles before CSC fails. It's really a personal decision. I had no plan, my CSC failed . Luckily I had Triple AAA Tow coverage. I never had problems with clutch plate/pressure plate....
