Yes. Sorry for the late response on the message. Been awhile away. That's right. The car did what it was supposed to do. As the passenger, getting smacked the way we did, the Ford Explorer was going faster than 70, messing with her dogs and not paying all that much attention. But the Police report listed 70. Man, it was a miracle. No bones broken, no injuries of any kind. Just a slight concussion which knocked me out for about half an hour. Not sure if it was the airbags or unless I hit my head against the door. The fact is, this car is incredibly safe. I think. So, I got the new one about 2 weeks after. Nissan worked hard to get me a car as soon as they could. Just got some feelings about ruining a marvelous automobile.

In response to your question about the taping of headlights for autocrossing or track events. This is done to protect the headlights from any road debris that may get kicked up by the cars running in front of you. The headlights for the 370Z as well as many other sportscars are expensive so its worth a few bucks of tape to give you a little added protection.

Nope. It's called DIAMOND BLACK in Japan (outside US). If you look at the folder, you'll see it says FAIRLADY Z colors

I highly doubt neither car can fit 4 tires. Just get a friend to help you carry the tires there. By the way, this has got to be the most irrelevant factor to consider b/w the Z and FR-S

I'm sure there will be gains for the Nismo but it shouldn't be too significant. Some people in the forum dynoed a stock Z with the Nismo exhaust and got some gains but not as much as other...

You have to go with Fast Intentions cat back exhaust. It has one of the most, if not the highest, gains for the 370z.....not to mention the orgasmic tone. Also affordable. I got Takeda stage II...

I'm sure Nissan purposely didn't address the CSC problem so they could rack up fees in repairs.

I'd say save a bit more and get it new! You never know what the used car has been through. If that's not an option, go for a low mileage one. And there's hardly a difference between 2010~current...

Just keep your car clean then :D But yes, I can relate to your frustration....People just dont realize what they're causing to the car's clear coat.
