Pretty much all mass-produced street cars will do the same thing for track duty. C5 Z06 and C6 Z06 may come with more aggressive brake pads and cooling ducts for all 4 and still the pads wouldn't...

The history behind this claim is from when Car and Driver went out on the track with stock pads and crashed the car due to brake failure. They gave a terrible review in 2008 I think it was. Morons....
