Look up 73draggy on YouTube. He built his VR38 engine from a rejected/recalled long block. It's pretty neat with his attention to detail... almost OCD! I'd like to slowly build something like this on the side one day. It won't be anything too crazy - maybe a Stage 1 which can handle 600 whp or so.

My car did the same thing at low speeds with the Stillen tune because they had it way rich to be safe since they can't dyno it. When I gave up and got it tuned on a dyno we did a couple pulls to see...

Update... Been on the dyno from 9am until about an hour ago! Very exhausted and reek like fuel! Going home for dinner and to relax. Took some cool video from today. Check it out on Instagram....

Those are solid #s for the boost level and crappy CA 91 octane. Temps were fairly high today as well

Add up the cost of insurance, property taxes, and loan interest (if applicable) over that period and the cost of this kit REALLY shows up.

I'm sticking to my Super Bowl (at best) time frame for shipment. I wouldn't expect much to be done over Christmas/New Years.

I don't get on here as much as I would like because of work etc., but seriously, catching up on this thread is just more reason to stay home and save money for this kit. And that is while I wait for...
