Look up 73draggy on YouTube. He built his VR38 engine from a rejected/recalled long block. It's pretty neat with his attention to detail... almost OCD! I'd like to slowly build something like this on the side one day. It won't be anything too crazy - maybe a Stage 1 which can handle 600 whp or so.

If u stay stock block it's fine you're just leaving potential for more power on the table. Honestly if u don't have or know a good shop then stay stock. Safest bet is stock.

Price tag on any upgrades for GTR is scaaary.

Kyle @ IPP is a good solid guy. If done correctly and tuned right motor will last long time and take a good beating.

Lol poor guy. As for the kit. Wow 10k. This is the part I don't understand. For that amount you spent in total you could have gotten a far superior kit. I have the stage 2 with 3"dp 3"exhaust oil...
