    Might not be a terrible deal if its OEM. FWIW I looked around at getting a whole new bumper and to have it painted to match. I consistently got offers for just the painting of the whole bumper...

    OP, can you post a picture of the damage? Some shops are actually good in repairing bumpers. Buying a replacement or repairing it depending on the damage might cost the same.
