    Only when the stereo is cranked and David Gilmour is bending a string.

    Ok, seriously, not really. I expected a Roadster to have more road noise, and it does, but wierd noises? No. Nothing that would suggest anything mechanical. No wind whistles. Just overall louder from outside.

    Bear in mind I have over a quarter million miles touring on a motorcycle, so road noise isn't a real issue. In both cases I just turn up the stereo.

    I like the look of my 3" far more than the stock antenna. I've also seen 2" versions advertised, but I've never seen one on a car.
