so you do comp repairs too? I have an HP dv5000 laptop and the screen stopped working. its not completely black, you can still see the color of the desktop and when you move the mouse. and it works find if I hook it up to an external monitor. I replaced the screen inverter but it still doesnt work. Any ideas?

Better than stock, good mechanical feel. Rattle occurs in third above 5,000 though which can be annoying, though I rarely get up that far. AMS might be good but only person has it so far.

Question for you, If I got the JLAudio 12W6v2 ( dual 4ohm voice coil sub) is the JL audio HD750 mono amp compatible?
Going to go look at the set that some guy is selling in my area. Supposedly both brand new and original packaging

I see a lot of people like the kenwood. I would like something different. Also, I am trying to stay at $1K or less for a complete setup.

    Hi,

I have been reading a lot of the msg's in the audio section and like what I read from you. You don't get bogged down in the BS and "that sucks, this is awesome" stuff, so I decided to run some stuff by you.

I would like to upgrade my sound system in my Z from the stock. My priorities are just a good quality sound system that has an ipod connection, allows for bluetooth connectivity and thats about it.

I have been looking at this:

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. - iXA-W404

I would add in the bluetooth: Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. - KCE-400BT

Any recommendations as to speaker setup? I don't really want a kicker box or anything, but I suspect that I would want to run a sub though.....recommendations on that?

I have seen the head unit on ebay for between 350 - 400......

    Thanks,

    Ron

i used a heat gun to take off the emblems. then i sanded them down and then i used spray can paint and sprayed one coat and left it for a day. the next morning i did a second coat and the day after i put them back on the car

if you dont have a heat gun you can use a hair dryer
