V1.5 Upgrade - Overall I'm happy with the upgrade. The turbo spools better and the throttle response is better. It's definitely easier to install than the V1.0 kit and being the second time around with the IC piping install I did a much better job zip tying rubber to prevent knocking and just did a generally better job of installing everything.

Pros:
- No more turbo coupler clamp thru the passenger wheel. The new charge pipe is much much easier to get into place.
- Easier to clock the turbo. I infact was able to adjust the clocking with the turbo installed to get the coupler angle perfect.
- Having the GReddy Thermostat plate previously, this upgrade eliminated two complete oil lines. Just one for you guys that have the non-thermostat V1.0.
- The IC piping route is just better this time around. I believe that and not having the 90 on the compressor cover equate to a better overall spool/throttle response.
- The IC Piping is now powder coated.

Cons:
- Getting the 4th turbo flange bolt installed is pretty tricky and takes a little time. Nothing as frustrating as the old coupler location, but still takes a bit of effort.
- The turbo charge pipe is now the lowest point of my car (you can see if in the photos). I don't think I lost any effective high-center distance because it is still pretty close to the front tires but it is the lowest point. It is NOT tucked up above the sub-frame.

Overall I'm happy I made the upgrade. I did make more power at the same baseline but I also went from a Stillen CBE to a FI CBE so I cannot contribute all the gains to the V1.5 upgrade. The major reason I upgraded was to eliminate the oil lines and make future turbo service easier.

Should you upgrade? If you are happy with your setup now, you have no oil leaks issues or concerns about running additional oil lines, have no issues with servicing the turbo in the V1.0 configuration, then it probably isn't worth the additional cost, time and retune.
